 Needed 2.2 - was forced to make do with 2.1 I was under the impression to download a trial version of Ace Media layer 2.2 which was advertised to be able to reformat mov-videos. But the version I was forced to download was 2.1, which cannot deal with mov-videos. It was therefore useless for my purposes, and promptly uninstalled. Thus, cannot say anything about the version Ace Media Player 2.2.

 Burner will not copy my CD's. All it copy's is the cda data,44k per song. I have to burn them to the HD and then burn the CD's from music files.
Not to great. EXACTLY like the "Quick CD/DVD Burner" program. I tried both and neither copied a copy protected CD as advertised, and both programs crashed in Windows 98SE when trying to access the "on line help"!!

Ease of use It works pretty good, but I had a hard time finding some of my music to burn to disc.All of my music shows up im Media Player library. For some reason a lot of my songs do not show up in the CD burner program. Most of the last songs added to Media Player were missing.Thank you.

The download went just fine. This was done in preparation for installing a music server. I have not done this step as yet so I have not been able to test the software as yet.
I love the support this has lent in giving my cherished MP11 the capability to play the notorious .m3u. However,I was under the impression that it was a codec.Actually it functions as a converter turning what was once unplayable format to .wma .This caused unstable UI as there was a constantly worsening delayed reaction to every command.That virtually rendered my Media Player nonfunctional.I suspect it was the auto-conversion process that goes on in the background,not a techie so I don't really know for sure.Easy fix:I removed the file folder from my program ...
i downloaded the file and was ablke to play a flac file but i must say if you are a newbie at this downloading get some one to be there with you.i also downloaded microsoft windows sdk v6.1 but can not figuire how it will help me as i wanted a means to convert files to and from flac w2hitch i fond quite good to use
It`s OK It's ok in that it did separate out via tags some NIN flac files. It was a little spotty on the Purplechick Beatles stuff.

 Nice littel pice of software Works fine, simple and does what is needed. If you need a lot of fancy extras this is not for you.
working The only real complaint I have is the interface isnt consistant. Seemed to be hacked together from many diffrent ideas. I love the tabs on the left, but does not match the rest of the interface. Its a very minor complaint but UI is what sells the product. I write software myself and know how difficult it can be to stay consistant with the UI. The program however worked perfectly and have 0 complaints about the actual results. Good luck on future endeavours
